Tom Dineen and fellow author, Toria L. Marshwood have joined forces with one purpose:

To celebrate the Indie Author.

 

A huge part of being a writer is meeting your readers — at signings, fairs, festivals, or even a quick chat across a book table. One cold and frosty morning, Tom realised that while there are plenty of events for traditionally published authors, there were very few spaces created specifically for the self-published community.

And even fewer that didn’t require dragging his children 300 miles around the country.

 

So an idea started to spark — which is usually dangerous — but this one felt important.

An idea to create the kind of event indie authors were missing.

 

An Indie Author Book Festival.

 

A space where the writers of BookTok and Bookstagram can step out from behind their screens and meet not only their readers, but each other, IRL. A chance to build real friendships, supportive networks, and long-lasting collaborations beyond Discord servers and comment sections.

 

Together, Toria and Tom are building a festival that brings indie books of every genre — Romance, Sci-Fi, Horror, YA, Children’s Fiction and more — into one welcoming, book-loving space. A place where readers can discover hidden gems they may never have found otherwise.
